Coincidentally what I'm having done on my other eye today...

If you’ve ever had dinner in a Moroccan restaurant, you’ve had the pleasure of finishing your meal with hot mint tea in tiny brass cups, poured from a graceful brass pot like in this collage. I own the set shown here, which I found at a Goodwill store; being a former belly dancer who danced in many Moroccan restaurants, I knew I had to have it. I have created it here against a typical Moroccan tile design, on a turquoise tray.

No. 2 in my series, "GIRL-FIENDS," this is Gomez Addam’s wife, the sinuous, beauteous, mysterious Morticia, of the 1964 “The Addams Family” macabre TV show. The Addams Family was created by cartoonist Charles Addams in 1938. The original TV show starred John Astin as Gomez and Carolyn Jones as Morticia—and for me, they will always be Mortician and Gomez, no matter who came later to the roles.

Number 1 in my series, “Girl-Fiends”, it’s Frankenstein’s monster’s intended, all a-flutter and discombobulated, parts flying everywhere. I wonder if this is what the good doctor had in mind?

I made this for my mom. She loves lilies. She didn't fade away when my sister died. She became a beacon of light in the chaos.
